Group Captain A S Mann DFC sadly passed away on 30 December 2009.

http://www.iwcp.co.uk/news/obituarie...ann-30583.aspx

His service as a tactical reconnaissance pilot in both Burma with No.28 Squadron on Lysanders and Hurricanes, then leading No.63 and No.268 Squadrons in Europe on Mustang Mk.1A and Mk.II, plus Hawker Typhoon FR.1bs, involved many more examples of bravery than covered in his obituary.

Rest in peace and blue skies.
