James D. "Jig Dog" Ramage is a significant figure in the history U.S. Naval Aviation.
Starting out a blackshoe he would become an intrepid SBD pilot and lead VB-10
from the the deck of Enterprise (CV-6). He was also a major factor in putting nuclear-capable aircraft aboard aircraft carriers. Before retirement he attained the rank of rear admiral. Jig Dog, you'll be missed..................
