On 23th October, the french pilot Roland de la Poype passed away. He was one of pilots of the Normandie Niemen squadron engaged on the URSS front during WWII.
16 kills confirmed.

All the french pilots engaged in the Normandie Niemen known that Hilter gave specifics order to execute them in case they were captured.
