The MD ANG was giving away a lot of Hs at the time.
One was flown to Spokane, stripped of its engine and interior (the engine ended up at the community college aviation shop) and placed on display at a State School for developmentally disabled children as a playground piece.

Later, it was rescued by the Match (or was it Castle?) Museum.

I was at the Fairchild open house right after it arrived, and it looked pretty neat in SEA camouflage.
