I heard the noted Merlin engine builder Jack Hovey has passed away.

I knew Jack back in the day from working for Bob Love, and we raced Jack's Mustang Mk IV at Reno for many years.

Location: Whittier CA USA, 25 miles east of Los Angeles
There is no information anywhere about Jack passing away and not one person has said anything on Facebook either. Do you have any further information about this or how you found out? None of my friends that work in the industry are getting texts about it either. Very strange .

Heard it from on of his neighbors . Very reliable source. And a customer too

This was Jack a very long time ago, doing what he did best. He was part of my Warbird and racing life for half a century. He will be missed...
