so, he is selling a cereal bowl, some pewter items, a 56 k modem, oh and 2 SPITFIRES! all added at the same time.

Hi Peter I thought as much and it is a popular technique in the fine arts field as well when some old rubbish painting or sculpture well past help is "bumped up " by advertising it in an inappropriate way ( viz the picture of "one similar" . Still as you say it worked- I took the bait.

i recieve the info package on these, its basicly a big collection of small spitfire parts.

370,000 pounds is crazy, the guys a dreamer.

for 370,000 pounds i would expect a very advanced project that could be made flyable within 12 months.

even these semi complete 109's sold for around $55,000 which is more realistic.



people need to lay off the crack.

Yes I believe that there are a total of three of these that arrived from Canada and went to various owners in Sydney and Melbourne.

I had heard that one has left the country and one is still in storage , the other is undergoing long term rebuild

I think Dave from NZ or Graham Orphan could tell you more.

David Prewett has his under long term resto in Melbourne, Chris Kelly has his in storage in Sydney and Glenn Mimlitsch in the U.S. is working on the remains of the other.
