The Large Canadian Roadside Attractions site for Ontario...

http://www.roadsideattractions.ca/popfiles/nbcfb100.htm

...indicates there are two CF-100s and a CF-101 on poles in North Bay.

Can any of you provide specific driving directions to find these airframes? I am planning a lazy weekend and might do a roadtrip.

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Mike,

Once you are at the airport, on the outside perimeter road, the airport will be on your left, and the base housing on your right. You must make a right turn and you will see the first CF-100; then you make another right, first or second street and then there will be a park on your left; that's where the other airplanes are.

Last time there, there was at the airport, a Boeing E-3 AWACS with NATO markings. Also of interest to me, I could see some Dash-8s with Argentinean registrations at the Bombardier hangars (This was August 2003).

Saludos,

Tulio

The 1st CF 100 is at Lee Park just off memorial drive north of town
It is on your left as you head out of town and across the street is a Bomarc missle. There is a rise in the road that allows shots from above
the CF 100
The Voodoo is at the base entrance with a series of radars displayed
Just follow the signs to the airport .
The Cf 100 is in a parking area near base housing
Also of interest is Bombadiers water bomber plant and Voyager airways
Dash 7's As well as a few derilict C-7 aircraft
