Also noticed in their 'sales log' that the old Tallichet N3333E 'Dixie' (more recently with Wayne Rudd in Colorado) has been sold through them, and the French registered F-AZJJ is now 'pending.' Lots happening on the Mustang front lately. Anyone know where they all might be headed? Thanks! We could use a few more in the Great Lakes region! Jim

Both N3333E "Dixie" and "Miss Marilyn II" are going to new owners in Texas. Sorry guys.

I don't have names yet for these new owners. Anyone else know?

Dennis

Don't know if I'm perhaps answering my own question but while I was flying around here in San Antonio today in a little Piper Tomahawk, I heard a conversation between the controller and another pilot. Seems someone here in San Antonio just got a Mustang that will be based at SAT which I'm all in favor of. I think he said that the owner got it from someplace in New York if that's any help. He also mentioned where it would be based here, so now I've just got to find some time to go take some pictures if possible.

That sounds right. The Miss Marilyn II was based out of New York.

Strictly San Antonio International at this point. I'm hoping to take my checkride sometime next month. I was up doing some solo practice this afternoon. My instructor has me go to New Braunfels for most of my practice. I'm usually in N4319E which is my favorite of the Tomahawks at our flight school. I also use N2412L, N2383F, and N2426N on occasion.

Yes sir, you've got the right place. And they're NOT trauma Hawks. The only folks I've ever heard call them that haven't actually flown one, just heard stories, most of which seem to come from sources before Piper modified the plane a bit with flow strips and such. The stall is basically a non-event and the plane's not bad at all to fly, and a bit roomier than the Cessna 150.
Don't have the Gleim, but am and have been studying the ASA materials quite a bit. That's partly why I haven't been on the net quite as much lately.

They are great A/C to fly and no, they aren't a trama. The tail flex's almost as much as the B-25 in flight. But when you are flying one, bring your game.

Cheers,

Lynn
