Until recently, I hadn't even realized Kermit Weeks was having a Boomerang restored.

Is anyone familiar with recent progress? Is it at Polk or another shop?

Many TIA.

Dan,

I'm not sure there is any active restoration occuring on it in the USA?, however I do believe Matt Denning constructed a set of wing outer panels for Kermit when Matt restored his example, now with Temora.

Regards

Mark Pilkington

Our Boomerang is a project that we have talked about starting but the center section is in really bad shape and would have to be built nearly from scratch. We may send the center section to Australia for rebuild but Kermit has made no decision at this time to move forward with the project.

Thanks for clarifying that.

Now...completely off-topic:

Any preview on what the boss will be driving to Oshkosh in a few weeks?

(Please cast one vote for me for the TP-40N)

The TP-40 will not be attending Oshkosh due to ongoing oil temp problems that we our trying to resolve at this time.We were hoping our A-26 which is being rebuilt at Aero Trader would be finished but it is waiting for the second engine to be installed. So at this time Kermit will not be bringing anything to Oshkosh this year.
