Me in my T-6 and in Tri-State Warbird's B-25, Les Heikkila in Petie, Linda Schumm/Brad Deckert in their Peoria, IL TBM, Paul R in Cincinnati Miss, and Rick Sigfried/Tim Gillian in Tri-State's TBM, and I heard second hand from a super-very reliable source Go-Buggy will be there, and the promoters told me both Tennessee P-47's. Here's a link. http://www.victorydays.org/

Victory Days were great, but no crowd. Too bad for the promoters. Lots of re-enactors and military vehicles, and the dance was awesome. The collection of planes was second to none.
Some of the a/c attending.
(1) B-17 "Memphis Belle"
(2) B-25's "Axis Nightmare" " Yankee Warrior"
(7) P-51's "Cincinnati Miss" "Petie 2nd" "No Name" "Geraldine" "Happy Jack's Go Buggy" "Moonbeam McSwine" "Big Beautiful Doll"
(2) P-47's "Hun Hunter XVI" "Wicked Wabbit"
(4) DC-3's
(1) A-26 "Lady Liberty" CAF Oklahoma City
(1) AT-11 Mark Godsil
(1) PT-23 Mark Godsil
(1) Stearman
(1) T-34 Mike VadeBonCoeur
(at least 7) T-6's (but who's counting those things!)
(lotsa) cool L-Birds

I would have gone but heard nothing about it untill a few days beforehand. As a result, I was already committed on that weekend. Too bad. Looks like a nice line-up. Maybe next time they'll work on getting the word out a little better

note: Dave Tinker's TBM was flown by Glenn Goldman. (How's that Warbird Driver?)

I was there.. The airport manger was probably recruited from a monster truck rally....I bet they lost their shirt on the thing... Probably won't be another show like that for a while in T.H.

Gee Greg, if you wanted to go for a ride all you had to do was ask!

They didn't publicize it very well. If I'd known they were having a warbird lineup like that, we would have made the trip down (my GF's family lives in TH.) As it is, I didn't hear about how many warbirds would be attending until a few days before. I'd heard some mention of the event earlier this year, but mostly just as a big re-enactors' weekend, with maybe a plane or two in attendance. Now I wish I'd gone..especially since I missed Thunder this year.

I went Friday. No P-51's that day...bummer. They had the ramp closed alot due to the aircraft coming and going, so they wasn't much chance to get close to them. I understand this show was moved from Columbus, IN kinda at the last minute due to the flooding down in southern Indiana. That might explain the lack of notice. Good show though for a warbird fan.

Too bad that great line up of aircraft went for naught. :? I had to dig pretty deep into the website just to find out that aircraft would even be on display.

Don't know what kind of promo went on but it was obviously not enough and the event sponsors must have been more in decal only rather than cash as I have heard that there were many disppointed aircraft owners after the show. Or maybe the aircraft owners should have been listed as sponsors.

Too bad as it could have been a really cool performance. Doubt many of these guys will return, bummer.

Here's a link to some nice pics of the birds at the Victory Days. can't blame TH for the lack of funds and PO'd owners. TH was only the location, not the sponsor of the event.
