A C-17 will lead a four aircraft formation over Utah Beach as part of a D-Day anniversary celebration.

Anyone know of any other plans? I know there will be lots of ground vehicles participating.

I am scheduled to be on a tour of the Juno beech centre at 10 AM on June 5. Anything flying that day? I will be in the area on June 6 so I will be looking up.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Look forward in seeing your photos when you get back.

I give the local Photo Lab much business. I was in there the other day and told them they could take the next two weeks off or get their "other" work done since I was going on vacation. They had a good laugh over that one. I also warned them though when the two weeks is up I'll be bringining in some film for processing and scans!

I am looking forward to the trip. It also includes my first visit to Duxford, and I will be hooking up with Cees and Harm-Jan in Amsterdam.

Enjoy your trip, if your a beer drinker you have to try Spitfirer.

I am not a big beer drinker, but do have a few from time-to-time. I thought I should try to make the extra effort to find a pub serving Spitfire. Those were fantastic ads they have, so I am hoping the brew measures up.
