The wreckage was not at Duxford, the aircraft crashed up at Binbrook, at one point the tail section was in a holding yrd in Lincolnshire UK.

From memory I think that was pretty much it. There was a fairly substantial fire which consumed most of the airframe, thankfully everyone got out with only fairly minor injuries, I seem to recall that this was aided by the fuselage breaking.

I remember talking with some of the NWM B-17 guys at Geneseo in 1989, and they said that they acquired at least the control surfaces from the tail. Other than the tail, I believe the rest of the aircraft burned to the ground. Hope this helps.
