I was out on the west coast last week visiting family and I was able to visit the Pacific Coast Air Museum in Santa Rosa, CA one day. They have a very nice selection of planes on outdoor display. Here's some of my photos:

I couldn't help but think of Gary when I saw this :( :

And these birds were still being worked on:

And next to the museum, I saw these flyers:

Hope you enjoyed them.

The Pacific Coast Air Museum's airshow, "Wings Over The Wine Country" is next Saturday and Sunday, August 21 & 22. There you can see all of the museum's planes up close and personal and be able to sit in these aircraft. There will be the usual air acts and displays. The show is at the Charles M. Schulz, Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa.

Hi Jim

I know, I wish I would have been in town for that... It looks like a good time. Always a day late and a dollar short like usual. Please post some photos if you can.

Hi Derek,
As it turns out I'm going to be at a wedding in Santa Cruz Saturday. I'm going to try and get back up there Sunday. I'm sure Roger Cain will be there taking great photos as always and a few others that are on this site.

Shouldn't that RF-86 have painted on gun ports? Looks like real ones in the picture?
