This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Apparently Paul Allen's people have bdk under their control. Come on bdk, you KNOW you want to tell us!
Who did the test flight, JP or SH?
When it's releasable, please post pictures!

Hoping for the FHC Fw190A.
Not to be a party-pooper, but has Don Hansen's flown yet and weren't they close?

I have it on good authority it was SH in the FHC FW. Wasn't there so I have no photos. This is all second hand.

Here's the first flight photo from FHC's Facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=477343128665&set=a.115249348665.100226.13883518665We are excited to report, yesterday afternoon (December 1), the Flying Heritage ...Collection’s Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-5 flew for the first time since 1943. Warbird test pilot Steve Hinton lifted into the skies for a 20-minute maiden flight to test all major systems. Hinton reported that the vintage fighter passed its trial flight with flying colors. “The plane is very light, fast, and responsive,” reported Hinton. “This lived up to the history books.” Future flights will take place though December, and soon, the rare vintage aircraft will be on its way to Washington State to be put on display at the FHC. It would be great to see this plane fly, but I don't think the museum takes their planes out of the area to shows like EAA Osh, do they?
Does this one have the original engine, and about how much of the plane is original?
I'll be looking forward to the pirep on it.

An absolutely amazing accomplishment!
Many, many thanks to all involved in the hard work, and to Mr. Allen for making this possible.
