Thanks for all of the fabulous images Matthias.
I have to agree with you whole heartedly. That fury is absolutely STUNNING! What a beauty. Imagine her in formation with the flying nightmare.
A few years ago the shop was working on a very early 109E. Is it still there?

Many thanks in advance.

Andy

Well, the project is still in the shop and Erik Meier is working very hard on that unique fighter. As you know, its a Spanish Civil War veteran. No actual pictures at that time, but sheet metal work is mostly done, the team ist working on the boring things as electrical system, cockpit and those things. She will be an absolute stunner, promise

Thanks so much!
I have no doubt that the extraordinary team will do nothing but the best for this unique survivor. Good to see her.
I also know that the most significant progress is very difficult to show in pictures.
Reconstruction of the systems is hugely vital. Sadly, it doesn't always make for the best press. It is the lions share of the work.

Please pass along my very best to the team. The work they do is second to none!

Andy

An old "friend" was also in the shop to get the annual ..... the "famous" India-India. One of the first aircraft under ownership of MeierMotors. Sold to France years ago, comes back every year for maintenance and of course the annual. I love that bird really .....

Milestone achieved !!!!!

The FockeWulf Fw190 project (Ex F-AZZJ) belonging to Hangar10 Usedom, made the first engine run today - the team is super happy that everything went perfect.

from right to the left : Janis Arzet (MeierMotors mechanic), Elmar Meier (CEO MeierMotors), Steffen Petersen (responsible mechanic for the project) and John who made all the electrical stuff
