Mathias, thank you as always for sharing all of these superb photos and information! Since you started posting the goings-on at Meier Motors, I am always looking forward to your updates. It looks like too much fun for one place! ;)

I especially like the detail shot of the oil-overflow streak on BBD!

Focke Wulf Fw190 A8/M WkNr980554 (Ex-G-FWAB)

Today was the first rollout and runup of the second MeierMotors FockeWulf project. That fighter was formally registered as G-FWAB and belongs now to a german investor and collector.

Image

the paintjob was at first a bit strange in my eyes, but after a time its really great and shows the beautiful shape of that fighter

ZUENDUNG !!!!!! Juergen Meier at the controls of "his baby"

Boy oh boy this things hammers around ...wow .... good vibrations :D and I tell you this thing is loud ..... I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!

The first run lasted 8minutes and everything went perfect. No temperature problems, no leaks, a happy team of course !!!

Image

To be continued ... and I have a video of that beast :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
