In between Matthias´ excellent posts you might want to follow them via their FB site (also maintained by Matthias of course):

I prefer his posts here, because the pictures seem to be larger and of better quality, but the FB site is a little more up to date.

well, he we are here we go. Some updates. The last weeks an months were very busy. Busy in the shop and busy in my private life, so I did not have too much time to keep you informed in that fantastic forum here.

Okay folks, updates. Let us begin with on of those major projects, here the stunning Messerschmitt Bf109 E 6-88 .... sheetmetal work without an end and some of the restored and reconstructed parts can be seen

In the meantime the shop got a Pilatus P-2. As you might know, many parts of those Pilatus trainers are Messerschmittparts ! So the undercarriage, hydraulic-system, instruments andandand ...

@"Invader26": Just to get it straight: Where did you get that information from? At least it skipped my attention so far.....

Thanks

Yesterday the successful maidenflight with EKW-3603-1 D-FRBI took place. Achim Meier at the controls with Oleg, responsible mechanic, on the backseat took the skies on 30th August 2013. Some work was done on that super rare multirolcombat aircraft. As you might know, the EKW C-3603-1 is the only example with Hispano Suiza V-12 in flying condition. The MeierMotors shop did the restorationwork in 2013, also the German Reg D-FRBI.
