Looks beautiful!! Looking forward to seeing some more pictures.

Matthias, regarding the ammo boxes, any pictures you can get showing the front, side, back and top of both the inboard and outboard boxes would be greatly appreciated. Also, a picture of the boxes with the lids open would be appreciated. If there are any decals on the boxes, a close up picture of that would be great too.

Thanks.

Ron

:D no no no , it´s mine, I was at first at the shop :D

Yes it looks fantastic. Never saw such a beast on the tarmac. She looks really very angry and dangerous, and its a combat veteran in its origin colors, thats really a special feeling. Its preserving history and of course a honour.

Perhaps we have found the combat-pilot who flew this "nightmare" in nightfighter-sorties over Korea. His son told me that his father flew about 8 combat sorties with exactly this plane/serial. Sadly his father passed away sveral years ago. I hope I will get some photos or better a coy from the flightbook.

In Germany we say "der Kreis schliesst sich" , translated "the circle is now closed". MeierMotors bought and restored the fighter back in its historical standard, the owner liked the idea "preserving history", we found the combat pilot and we are completely happy !

Again thanks to Rob Mears who gave us the history card, that was the moment in which action began. Without Robs history card, 124541 would fly in overall-glossy-sea-blue. Now its black and there are some cans glossyseablue in the shop waiting for another project :D

Matthias,

She is looking great!!! Great shots of the first engine run. Now we await her first flight photos. Hopefully we will be able to see her at Flying Legends at Duxford the weekend of 9 and 10 July this year.

Best Regards,
Lance

Just awesome. I do like the looks very much. A very dangerous and cool looking bird. Hope to see it at some airshow or another...... Splendid pics, thanks Matthias.

"no she won´t ."

And this is nice (the owner has really a good taste).

Why ?

Simply because asymetrical elements on an aircraft (like on a car too) spoils in any case the beauty of its lines.

She is not a nightfighter without a radar. The pilot can't see in the dark....DUH
