Looks like the folks at Fighter Hangar 1, as of January 21, have acquired B-25J "Betty's Dream."

It's been sort of strange to see all of these ND/MN birds (except for the FG-1D) moving down to Texas, but at least they are in familiar company, both planes and pilots. :) Definitely a collection of 'world-class' warbirds - Betty's Dream being the epitome of a fully out-fitted, functional throughout, WWII B-25J - amazing the interior on that thing!

So these aircraft will soon be making a visit to the Caribbean, it sounds like, specifically St. Maarten? I'm glad to hear that these aircraft will be campaigned all over the place this coming air show season - hoping to catch them maybe when they are back up in ND this summer.

They have plans for hitting all the major areas of the country including NE, more specifically Maine apparently.

Chris Griffiths, the point man for the folks funding this effort, splits his time between Houston and Maine. Heavy on the Maine !

Go to Wiscasset Airport, Wiscasset, Maine. I just seen them yesterday. The Zero was at Owls Head, but should be there now. Went inside the B-25 (beautiful job people). One was wiping it down as I arrived. Heading back again with family. They will be flying on the weekends in the afternoon. Here until end of August I believe. Real nice people. You should not let it go by. Last time I was able to see these up close was 15 years ago.
