That would be sweeeeet!!!!

I would like to know the date as well. I may be in the middle of a move to the east coast next summer so it would be nice to have a date to plan the move around the show!

Nice!

A demo I hope and not just static (not that I would not enjoy it static but...).

No point to having it if it's going to just be a static (In My Opinion).

The MiG-29 would be a great airplane to have at Thunder Over Michigan, but not being strictly a "vintage" jet warbird still being in service with a number of nations and more or less contemporary with the F-15 and F-16, hopefully it would be the first of several more jets that would be more in the "classic vintage warbird" arena such as the MiG-21, MiG-17, MiG-15, F-86, F-100, F-4, A-4, T-33, T-2, FJ-4B, Hawker Hunter, etc. You could even due a Korean War Era/Cold War Era/Vietnam Era/Desert Storm/Iraq Era adversary theme with F-86 and T-33 (stand in for F-80) vs. MiG-15; A-4, F-100, F-4 vs. MiG-17 and MiG-21; MiG-29 vs. F-15, F-16, F/A-18 (if you can get DOD to participate).

In any case hopefully the MiG-29 is the first of a large and varied lineup of Jet and Prop warbirds for the 2012 show. Look forward to hearing the theme and concrete dates within the next couple of months.

Tim,

If we do end up going with the MiG-29 next year it would include flying a demo.
