Is Wes Stricker's Mustang not finished as Kansas City Kitty/339th FG colors, or has it changed in recent years?

Anyway, great news regarding the project Austin! I hope you'll get some good results from the correspondence!

Thanks you guys for the kind words! It really has been a great last 2 months for the project. The word is really spreading locally, which is just what I was hoping would happen with the release of Red Tails. I think the success will only grow from here on out...

How many does that make?

Five?

No it was painted that way for filming. Now carries D-Day stripes.

So, I've been wondering, if I wanted to build some "simpler" P-51B parts to start things off, what would be some good components to begin with? I obviously want to get building the rudder first, but in the meantime, what smaller bits can be made with relative ease? Thanks all!

If you have all the blueprints you need, you could contact a company to build all new parts for you.

I have a link of a company that did that for a corsair... Or had...

Thanks to Mr. O'Leary, I have been published in the latest issue of "Air Classics" with my write-up about "Lucy Gal!" I'm very humbled and excited to have gained this kind of notoriety for the project. I have all of you guys and gals here on WIX to thank for it!

Happy me with my article in "Air Classics."

Austin, I hope you haven't forgotten your offer to do an article for our Tuskegee Airmen Youth Programs newsletter. Any progress on that?
