Some very unusual views of commonly known subjects, this is the first time I've ever seen a shoreline shot of 'BAKER' and could really appreciate the immense power. The one thing you keep coming back to is photos of the kids and seeing their optimistic faces after all the horrors and deprivation and, I'm sure terrors they've been through up until then.
Some pretty powerful photos in this. Thanks for posting

The caption under the Northrup XB35 said cancelled due to technical difficulties is as most people know complete Hog Wash. Secretary of Air Force Stuart Symington wanted to force Northrup to merge with Consolidated Vultee which he had been offered a job of CEO. Northrup refused-- the contract cancelled and the wings were cut up on Symington's order.
