I really have to thank-you for the video Dave. I gave Richard Allnutt and his brother Robin a briefing last night of what went on a Thunder. I burned your videos into a CD and we played them back on his laptop hooked up to my surround sound system. The recording was only mono, but when the amplifier was set to "Hall" it came over all the speakers and sounded really cool. In fact you could even hear voices from the crowd in different speakers. It was almost like actually being there. Very cool.

Thanks again for sharing!

Mike

Dave,

as always, excellent video shots. I tried to take some myself, as I got a new digital cam that can take vid as well. Trouble is, that on my camera, the vid is smooth and free, but on my PC, they all seem jerky. Any thoughts ? Also, they are in a Quicktime format...anyone out there know of a way that maybe I can convert them over to a WMV format and smooth them out ?? Opinions and help always wanted.... and VERY much appreciated.

Paul

Nice job dave, thanks for sharring. I took a lot of video, haven't gone through it yet. I just know I missed the B-17 missing man formation, which sucks cause i saw it through the view finder but forgot to hit record i guess in all the excitement. I hope to go through all my video sometime soon and hopefully post some up.

The rest of the video footage is uploaded, amazing how many times i forgat to kill the record and filmed the grass, my sandals, camera bag etc.
Normally i try not to talk while filming but sometimes you might hear a little curse here and their ( kids yelling around me, non airshow planes blocking my view, UMBRELLAS etc ) I have to capture a few shots of the guys on the flight line with the big telephoto lenses ( might be someone from this fourm? ) some of the lenses are almost as big as they are LOL  ( Im just jealous i dont have one yet )

Working on the pictures now

Cheers Dave C

I was thinking the same thing?

If so, what a excellent performance to you and all the pilots that performed for us on the ground.

Tip of the hat to you all
