Ok guys (Mike)
Who has the IDs on the A-10s? I have 2 out of the 3 but not the third (the spare for the H-Flight on Saturday).

Also the F-86, I assume this is a Canadian Machine?
CL-13 Mk6 N186FS is that correct?

The L-17 (not 19) (in Wash ANG Colors) that flew up from MAPS, I should have the O-2s from our Visit to MAPS Friday afternoon.

That is all I can think of right now, I’m sure there will be a few more this evening. I really love having those 4 Meg pictures, make reading N# much easier.

Tim

The one you are looking for, the one parked in front of the main entrance, was 81-998.

The other two you can help me with...

"0208" is either 79-0208 or 80-0208
"0194" is either 79-0194 or 80-0194

Corrected the L-19 to an L-17. Oops

I can't remember if I had the 0208 or 0194 but I know its 80-0###. I'll check that when I get home.

Now THAT is Cool !!!

We got to see a REAL Klingon Bird of Prey

I knew that Michael Dorn was into vintage jets, but I never knew he owned a Sabre. I saw a documentray about celebrities flying, and he was featured with a Sabreliner he was purchasing, but he mentioned that while he has a passion for flying, the studio had written into his contract that he, personally couldn't pilot his own because of his status for the Star Trek series.

Thought I'd pass that tidbit on.

If have a few questions of my own. I hope you don't mind Tim, but it is on the subject...

#1: T-34 with markings: "TD-638", "U.S. AIR FORCE", "27638"

#2: Was the Rany Hunt Texan there? If so what were the markings and what was the c/r?

#3: There was a grey Texan with red angled stripes on the tail and "HL" on the fuselage. Does anyone have an ID on that one?

Regards,

Mike

Mike,

Not completely sure this is the same Texan, but it is light gray with angled red stripes on the tail. From my picture, it has an "A" on the left side of the Stars n Bar. Because of the wing and picture angle, I can only see the top of letters to the right of the US insignia but it could well be HL. Anyway, I have a clear picture of the registration number and it is N87H.

Hmmm.... Jeff... if you could email me (I don't have your email), I could them reply with my picture attached and we could confirm. If you don't mind please put something obvious in the subject line. I need that since you are not yet in my contacts list.

Mike and Tim,

The Condor Squadron T-6 (red stripes on tail) is N87H.

The three A-10's are as follows:

80-0194 FT Pope AFB
80-0208 FT Pope AFB
81-0998 BC Battle Creek ANG

The German Alpha-Jet was N114ZA

I am having a hard time coming up with the c/r of the P-40 at Thunder. Sometimes me an the FAA database just don't get along.

Does anyone know the c/r?

Mike
