Hey all,

I'll be going to Vermont in a few months and wanted to scope out the local aviation scene so I checked the good ole' Aerial Visuals site and found a few. One in particular was of interest to me.

The Camp Meade Victory Museum
http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/LocationDossier.php?Serial=3934

But it seems the place has closed down and theres no point of contact anywhere on the internet. Does anybody know what happened? Are the aircraft still there?

Thanks,
Chris

Hmmm, wasn't that the F-86 that was up for sale in Ebay a year or so ago?

All the aircraft had gone by Sep11.
AT-11 (42-37620)/CF-JNW (Dec91-Aug07) went to Asheville NC.
I don't know where F-86D 52-10068 went.

Well as a Vermonter I suppose I should fill in the info.

Yes the Camp Meade Museum and Lodging has closed its doors. The owner has since retired and his kids now own the property. The surplus was sold off years ago, though Im not 100% sure but he still might own his WW2 Half Track. Yep the AT-11 is no longer and last I knew, Eric had that project up for sale also.

As for the F-86D, he still has it, its dissassembled and stored. Just this AM I was 15 feet from it but I dont have any pics as its sealed off. I will say that there is a current attempt being made to relocate the F-86 to the Vermont Militia Museum at Camp Johnson.
