Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site. My main interests are WWII aviation, RCAF, and Harvard aircraft. I am also a private pilot, flight simmer and model builder. I enjoy view pictures posted on this site. I will try and contribute pictures as I can. I may not post often but I will check the site daily for new information.

Welcome to WIX!

Looking forward to viewing any images you may have to share with us. What museums are close to your home? It looks like you are from Western Canada.

Also don't forget to post pics of your models in the model forum.

Mike

I am located in Regina. I have visited Museums in Moose Jaw, Brandon, Winnipeg, Reynald's in Wetaskiwin Ab. I try and regularly attend the airshows in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon Sk. I have also attended Oskosh and the QuadCities airshow in Davenport Ia. I have some pictures from the Reynolds Museum I took last summer. They have a Harvard, Yale, and a Hurricane that may be of interest to members. I hope to visit a gentleman in Saskatchewan this fall who has a Tiger Moth, Harvard Mk.4, and a Hurricane. The Harvard and Hurricane are in flying condition.

Wow, small continent! My name is Brandon and I have a Harvard- but I've never been to Canada. :?

Welcome in any case! :D

TienMac--

Welcome to WIX...hm, we must be nearing the Tipping Point at which we Canucks will assume control...

The gent in SK you refer to must be Harry Whereatt, at Assiniboia, who has the three types you mention. Last photo I saw of his Hurricane XII, C-GGAJ, it still had the original paint and unit-applied name ("Star Dust" iirc) on one of the cowling panels. Fantastic.

Cheers

Steve T
