I was looking for the NA-50 under restoration at Las Palmas AFB in Peru.
Looking over the base I found this storage yard. Really low resolution. Does anyone know what these are or have access to a higher resolution image?

I am just glad I'm not the only one who spends WAY too much time looking at old airbases around the world!

T-34's perhaps? BT-13? Wing not quite right for a T-6.

Current and former types used by Peru:

My first impressions were a T-28 and an L-19/0-1. But I could be wrong, and probably am.

They are Tucanos I believe. They have been repalced by KAI KT-1s.

Could be a few. I dont know how accurate measurements are on Google Earth, but there a few with 37 foot wingspans that could be Tucanos. Others appear to have around a 34 foot wingspan...

The compound was inspected in Oct19. At least nine Tucanos were present, including 421, 423, 429, 440, 449, 457.

I've attached the file on current day Peruvian military aircraft taken from scramble.nl . They do comment about T-34C's still in the inventory. I landed at Lima airport about 25 years ago and noted all three military branches had facilities at the airport ..including naval T-34's. of course there were a lot of Russian Mil helicopter's there mixed in with the various air arms...especially the army.

I saw a B-24 wing in Beijing some years back. Might have been from this aircraft.

Really? 8) Details please - I'm hoping it's in a museum storage area and not part of somebody's chicken coop...

At an aircraft museum, but unsure if they still have it or disposed of it. Don't think I found any useful serial numbers or data tags on it. Probably 10 or 15 years ago.
