Not Fuji. Japan is nowhere near that mountainous and empty. I'm guessing one of the Washington or Oregon Three Sisters.

That's the first time I've seen a B model Twin Mustang in the night fighter scheme with the pod; for that matter, it's the first B I've seen photographed besides 44-65162 and 44-65168. Thanks for finding it, as well as the two shots of Glenview planes (V on the tail).

Also that snake-nosed Corsair #18 is in several photos - did it really go down an open elevator? Must have been a big surprise to the guys on the hangar deck. Baugher info:

The Corsair was put on the elevator and lowered so they could pull the tail vertical and flip the plane back upright.
