There were many mis-indents over the years. I have taken the liberty to suggest alternative captions.

Actually Mk V BL614 at Henlow and then thought to be 'AB871'. Note four blade prop and canopy repair

A Mk IX but not MH434 during the BoB film. Note no belly aerial. A less contrasty image required.
This is not UK scenery. I would suggest MK297 with the Confederates post BoB film. I will check on my return to home base

This is actually Bill Grenwood's TE308 at Bovingdon. Note the Buchon prop. ML407 was still a pile of Irish bits a this time

It is amazing how ugly, subjective of course, some of the Spitfire versions became.

I'm going to guess this is MK923 when it was painted overall blue. California scenery, Jerry at the controls.
