DOH!! Eyesight and brain both shot.

Jay Wisler has Griffon valve covers for sale as well. Look under "Parts for Specific Aircraft."

At the risk of sounding completely stupid, who is Jay Wisler, and where do I find the site these parts are listed on? Thanks

Speaking of B-29 parts. Does anyone know the wereabouts of the engine part of a B-29 APU? (Besides the BBQ'd one in Kee Bird) A friend of mine has the generater pieces, framework etc, but the motor is missing. Also, did any other A/C use that same type APU?

Got 3 complete one's sitting right here :D Don't have any lines on just an engine, but keep an eye on eBay, they turn up every so often. I can PM you the model #'s if you like!

Douglas C-53/DC-3A C/N #4926 is now N22RB:

Actualy, N22RB has not been cancelled, YET.
This is what became of it, thanks to hurricane Charley:

Thanks for the info bdk, I was totally elated to see that it was alive and well. then " dispatch " added more current news and I was crushed. I have a radio control Royal DC3/C47 almost finished and always thought the "Air Molokai" white with the 2 tone green trim was a beautiful paint scheme and have plans to finish it in those colors.

Thanks again for the updates guys.

Duane

I'm looking for the following if anybody has any;

Vultee BT-13:

1) a 3" gascap (with the streamlined handle)

2) a metal rudder trim tab (airworthy or repairable)

3) any of the firewall mounted bellcranks and the pushrods for the engine accesories that run between between the engine and the firewall.

4) the seat rail fittings for attaching the rear seat's rails to the fuselage truss.

Stearman:

1) The pulley that directly attaches to the front cockpit's elevator trim tab control (the single cable pulley, not the double).

Aeronca:

1) Aeronca Service Helps & Hints #32 and onwards.

Cash, trades, first-born, etc.

thanks,

Dan

I picked this up at the Whitwick Aerojumble in Leicestershire, England on Sunday.

It's the Flight Engineer's panel from a Canadian built Avro Lancaster X.

Image

As you can see, several gauges are missing and I'm hoping a Canadian or U.S. forumite may be able to help me track down some spares?

The whole unit is made by Genaral Electric Canada, and the gauges look to be a push fit into sockets at the rear of the panel.

I've never seen this type before and they may be unique to the Canadian Lanc.

I need two Radiator Temperature gauges and two Oil Temperature gauges with the fluorescent finish (one of the oil temps has a luminous dial)

Any leads greatly appreciated!

I’m not sure that I want to get beat up today but I’ll post this anyway. I’m looking for a NON-airworthy cylinder from an engine. I’m thinking of one off a R-2800 or something similar. I know the Collings had one up on EBay a while ago, so I know they are out there.

It is very important that is be non-airworthy because I need 4 1” holes drilled into it around the top. I want to make it into a Tap Tower for dispensing beer out of it. I’m not even sure if this would do-able. What do you think?

How much do these go for?
I would want it in good shape, but I’m willing to clean it up myself.

Runs for cover

Hey, why not? I’ve got some lamps made out of old cylinders. Better to be a beer dispenser than a beer holder (can)!

Tim, you’ve got me thinking of a mod for the Kegerator…
