tim, the thing I scanned these negs with is "ion PICS2SD photo, slide, and film scanner". independent of computer. I can't recall if I could tweak the pics. I've only used it once or twice. it is great but I was bummed it didn't have the ability to scan these BIG old slides I have.

One more from that day, which I suspect to be 1995. One thing I recall about Dayton 1994 was it was COLD, and this doesn't look too chilly. Perfect weather for a paratrooper invasion!

IMHO, the best years for warbirds and airshows was the late 80's and early 90's. Just a variety of aircraft were flying at that time. Many that were flying then are now ground bound.

that would be the 1994 Dayton Airshow. The mass parachute drop with the C-130s and C-141s were done for the 50th anniversary of D-Day, which would have been 1994.

These might all be from 1994 - Fifi, Diamond Lil, Texas Raiders and the Lanc flew in missing man that year. I was thinking it was 1995 up until the other day when someone posted video from it on youtube. I was both shows. 1995 had a great warbird gathering, probably the best I ever seen of WWII aircraft for the 50th anniversary of the end of WWII.
