So I'm at Redbird, who else from WIX is here? I'll probably be at the field (my home base) tomorrow and Saturday for sure. Maybe Sunday after church.

VFM will have a PX table set up alongside Jim's T-33. CrewDawg will be there both days, and I'll be there Sunday.

How about a WIXer meetup Sunday at the T-33?

Well I nailed that forecast like the pro's, I saw the B-24 yesterday morning and Gunfighter was around giving rides all day yesterday and has already started to do so today. Fly safe, y'all...

Wish I would've seen this earlier. I was out there all day Saturday with Stang Jr. We had a great time. The youth hangar was very well done, not to mention all the great flying.

Yeah. I hung out with the L-2 most of the time, saw several WIXers, or exWIXers, whatever... ;)

Glad you had a good weekend Ryan! I noticed on your Instagram pic of the L-2 that you live in Oak Cliff. In the 60's we'd travel from Arlington to see the Christmas lights there back then. Dunno how it is these days. When I lived in Texarkana in the 90's I satisfied my south Texas TexMex seafood Jones at a place in Oak Cliff called La Calle Doce...appropriately on 12th St. Really tasty Mex seafood. If you haven't tried them yet and enjoy seafood you might check it out. Bon apetit!

Looks like that's about as far of a drive as it is to get to Rebird / Dallas Exec - so not bad. I'll put that on the list to check out.
