Looking at the SB2C and AT-6 / SNJ photos. They look stretched a bit. I should fix those correctly. Love to see them in color.

Holy cow - the first time I've ever seen a Helldiver in any sort of civil (non- NACA) scheme. And a shark mouth on a metal P-40, that's different
Apparently that SB2C NX67858 didn't have a long career - crashed at an airshow in St George's, Utah

I see what looks like a '65 Buick Special driving past that AJ Savage in one of the photos, so late 1964 is plausible for the date.
The Savage is an interesting airplane that doesn't get a lot of coverage. I wonder how many Savages were used as air attack ships, or any other civilian purposes. Anyone know?

Found this link to the Savage in the pic. Lost in 1967, so yes, mid 60's is about right

I remember seeing a Cutlass, Panther and a P2V there years ago, as well as some other artifacts, so it wouldn't surprise me they had a P-40 there at one time. Seems like they had a Zero and the POF Raiden came from there (unless the Raiden was misidentified as a Zero).

I recall seeing at least two AJ Savages at the Van Nuys, CA airport circa 1962-63. They were painted white w/red trim.
