A couple of weeks ago at the Innisfail Fly-In-Breakfast. This was the Stearman's first outing of the season.

Finally had some time to dig through some pictures. Took awhile to find any that had me in them!

1st, here's me making my happy camper face in the front seat of Warbird Adventures SNJ-6 after having just returned from a flight:

Giving my new ride a hug (I felt horrible after selling my Cessna 170, but the 180 & I are pals now too):

I'll tag in, but it's rare that I'm on that side of the camera, so I gotta go with this one...

Used to make my living as a musician, but now it's all photography. Playing the odd gig is just a stress reliever...

Hahahah... well considering my mother was only 12 years old the year The Blue Max was released I'm going to say probably not :P

That shot was taken this July at an airshow. I think its kind of fun being in the same age range as the guys who flew these things originally, hence the uniform to add to the effect. The fun of researching and sourcing an accurate uniform is sort of along the same lines as trying to get the paint scheme or some other historical detail correct on the airplane itself.

At least in my eyes. Then again I'm am a history major so what do you expect

Got a friend that can fix you up with either a flying aircraft or one restored to your specs. Located here in the DFW area. Do you want an Observer model or Ambulance? I haven't been over to the shop in a couple of months, but I am fairly certain that he could have one of the projects restored and flying for you before April, depending on the engine shop.
