Dominated by the weather. Rain all of Saturday afternoon display and Sunday morning.

Bonus. Minimal visitor aircraft leaving a clear Duxford back drop.

In no particular day or order.

...and as a grand finale 18 Spitfires in close formation and singleton 'Joker' display Spitfire. Total 19...a Warbird era record.

The photos appear for about one second, and then disappear with a broken link symbol showing - anyone know how to fix this?
ETA: Installed yet another Chrome extension that seems to have fixed it. Terrific photos!

I was at Flying Legends in July and I see the grass greened up quite a bit, was brown during the show as was so hot and dry. I remember seeing a Catalina, I think, parked at the end of the runway tucked away. Is this the same one? They do an amazing job with their airshows. Seen aircraft flying and static in the museums there I have never seen before in person, only in photos.

PeterA, thanks so much for the post, not bad for just a bunch of "snaps". Actually, your photography is brilliant, sir, and I have learned to be on the lookout for it. Much appreciated indeed!

Great shot of the eighteen Spitfires, must have been quite a sight to see in the flesh.

Great stuff!

Question: What is that "appendage" hanging beneath the Lyssie?

I think it's a cargo pod, but I could be wrong.
