Hello, I have never been to the National Naval Aviation Museum, how is the SBD displayed to give the illusion it is underwater? How complete is the SBD? There is also a Wildcat displayed in the same fashion?

They are in a dark room set up like a theater with a screen playing a movie about the recovery efforts. There some lights that 'wave' over them to make it appear underwater. The effect is actually pretty cool, but dark. these pictures were long exposure shot and also 'light painted' with a couple cell phones.

Thank you for the response...they look great. They'll have to cover them in muscles if they ever decide to update the display :)
