Just a small update to C46 CP-1655 in Bolivia, I came across the links below and looks like it is being offered up for sale. She was being brought back serviceable condition prior to the crash of CP-1319 in 2012. From what I understand, no C46 has flown in Bolivia since, as the only Captain who was certified to do check rides was killed in the 2012 crash. Note this C46 is not CP-973 that has been listed for sale in passenger configuration for several years now. These are the only two C46 still serviceable in South America, there is one other at La Paz (CP-987), but hasn't moved in 30 years, and it almost certainly just a parts bird.

Hawker Hurricane V7497 has been added back onto the list of active flyers, having returned to the air last weekend, following significant repairs at Hawker Restorations. The aircraft had been involved in a groundloop with gear collapse on landing back in the summer of 2020. Yesterday, it was flown back to its home base at Duxford.

Although it isn't quite there yet, I have moved the country of operation for the TF-51D 44-73871 "Double Trouble Two" (N551TF) from the US to Canada. Having been refurbished and repainted by MeierMotors in Germany, it was sold last fall and shipped to Stallion 51 at Kissimmee, Florida, where additional work was carried out as well as pilot training. Today, it was flown from Kissimmee up to Oshkosh, arriving at AirVenture early this afternoon. After AirVenture, it will be heading to its new home with its owner in Canada. It will be the fourth operational P-51 based in that country.

CC&F Hawker Hurricane, RCAF 5481, which has been flying in Australia since 2015, was transported to the wharf in Sydney yesterday, to be shipped to the UK for its new owner. I have temporarily removed it from the flyers list and will add it back on once it flies again in England.

This particular Hurricane originally served with the RCAF Training Command in Canada, between October 1942 and November 1944, when it was struck off charge. The fuselage was recovered from a farm in 1984, and Terry Dieno of Saskatchewan soon acquired it and began the restoration. The project was then sold to Charles Church in the UK in 1986, where it was ultimately completed. It was briefly registered as G-ORGI, between 1989-1991, when with Charles Church, and that registration remains available if it were to be re-registered again with those same letters. It was sold to David Price (Museum of Flying in Santa Monica, CA) in 1991, and was registered in the US as N678DP. It was not flown much when in the US, though Skip Holm flew it and wrote a fantastic pilot report about it for Warbirds International, back around 2003 I think. Ed Russel, of Niagra Falls, Ontario, acquired the Hurricane around 2004, and it was registered as C-FDNL in Canada. It was sold and exported to Australia in 2013, where it underwent restoration with Pays Air Service at Scone, NSW. Registered as VH-JFW, it was completed in 2015, and has been painted in the markings of Hurricane Mk.1 V6748, assigned to No 46 RAF Squadron, flown by John Dallas Crossman during the Battle of Britain.

Thank you, Thomas! I've been slacking a bit in getting this thread updated lately. I've added the P-40 to the section of flyers in New Zealand, though of course it will eventually be making its way to Italy.

Douglas R4D-8/C-117 N28TN, belonging to TransNorthern Aviation, made a belly landing at Merrill Field in Anchorage, Alaska, on December 8, 2021, after experiencing problems with its right-hand engine. The aircraft had taken off from Anchorage International on a flight that was to head to Kodiak. Damage to the airframe appears to have been minimal.

Thank you, Mick, that has now been corrected.

Also, although I've been keeping up with Yak-3/-9/-11 news (at least I think so), I've failed to keep "the list" updated for several months now.

Updates now include:
- Yak-11 (LET C.11) c/n 172624, previously registered in France as F-AZYA, has been flying since January of last year, after being repaired following a landing accident in April 2019. The aircraft is now registered as OK-KII in the Czech Republic with its new owner.
- Yak-3UTI c/n 002, registered as F-AZIM, has been flying again since last June, having been restored by FAST Aero in Belgium, and is now based at North Weald in the UK with owner Bob Davy (it has been kept very active since arriving at North Weald).
- Yak-9UM c/n 0470406, previously registered as HB-RYA in Switzerland, is now in the US having been acquired by Hunter Aviation International, and is registered as N16YK.

Also, as reported in the latest issue of Warbird Digest, another newly-built Allison-powered Yak-3 is soon to fly in France, registered as F-AYAK. Based at Loir-et-Cher and owned by Frederic Olivier and Paul Vezard, it has been constructed using a fuselage built by Jean-Marie Garric in Texas, combined with the later all-metal Yak-3U type wings.

From what I've read on Facebook this is the last of M. Garric's Yak-3 projects. How many has he done over the years?

P-40N USAAF Serial No. 42-105120 has been added back onto the flyers list. Sold in 2018 to Echo Delta Aviation of Okeechobee, Florida, it had previously been owned and restored by C & G Air (Chris and Gail Kirchner). Initially, the aircraft was sent to Thom Richard's facility at Warbird Adventures at Kissimmee, FL, to receive a newly-overhauled engine, new fuel tanks installed in the wings, and the "TP-40N" conversion, matching Thom Richard's example. Then the project was sent to American Aero Services at New Smyrna Beach, FL, where a thorough overhaul/re-restoration was undertaken. Fully refinished, the aircraft has now returned to the air at New Smyrna Beach, with Thom Richard at the controls.

Is it now a TP-40N or is it a standard P-40N, perhaps with a second seat?
