Thank you Mike. Yeah, I was confused (not hard for me) about that one. I originally did a search for C-FXYP and I saw some sources claiming it to be a Dash 8 instead, and I saw the sales ads claiming it to be C-CXYP. However, it appears the Dash 8 that was registered as C-FXYP at one point now has a different registration in Australia (VH-QOT). I may as well revise my listing to C-FXYP, since that is what is clearly applied to the aircraft.

That is awesome! Thank you Mick for all of your hard work in putting that together. I will add it to the front page list later today when I get home.

Wonder if she'll be repainted.

Goose update...a new addition?

L. Fenwick's Goose usually based near Sandpoint, Idaho, spent the summer at Felts Field, Spokane.
The FAA lists his plane as: B-32, N9750Z.

Attached is a photo of it flying with Addison Pemberton's USN-marked example...SN 1161, N95467.
It was taken by a photographer friend of Addison's so I don't have the copyright, but I don't think he would mind non commercial use like this.
If I'm wrong, I'll happily remove it.

Note the mods to '50Z:
A window in the cabin door, three-blade props with stainless spinners, and PBY-like retractable wingtip floats (which allows a gross weight increase due to less drag).

Also, note the horizontal strip on the windscreen which is lacking on '467.
Addison Pemberton told me that is a requirement if the aircraft has Plexiglas windscreens (as opposed to glass), like his example has.

Yesterday, December 17th, Spitfire Mk.XVIII SM845 was flown from its previous home in England, where it had been owned by Richard Lake, to MeierMotors at Bremgarten, Germany for its new owner, Fliegerhorst GmbH & Co.KG. John Romain was the pilot on this delivery flight.

Now today, December 18th, Spitfire Mk.XVI TB252, restored by Avspecs at Ardmore, New Zealand, made its first test flight (followed by at least another). Restored to award-winning standard, with all original equipment and hardware present, the aircraft is owned by Charles Somers, who has a growing collection of some of the most impressive, award-winning warbirds in the US (including a P-40C and DH Mosquito which were also both restored by Avspecs, and previously owned by Rod Lewis). Somers bases his collection at the Sacramento McClellan Airport in California.

Just added. :D

It looks absolutely phenomenal, with exceptional work once again from Fighter Rebuilders - I would say perhaps their finest restoration to-date.

C-54/DC-4 update, We have acquired N9015Q to replace N500EJ and it should be flying within a month or two. Engines run, a gear swing was performed, and taxi tests are done. s/n 43-17228.

It will be reregistered N500EJ replacing 44-9144 which is our damaged C-54.

+1 for the DC4/C54 fliers. Ralph Peterson has just reported N3054V is back in service with Alaska Air Fuel after writing off the other one last fall.
