P-51D Mustang/44-14010 "Chicago's Own" of the 356th FS after being downed by flak on December 1, 1944.
The pilot Captain Gordon McEachron of the 353rd FS was captured. Previously flown by Capt Fred Warner.

This Israeli P-51 Mustang, piloted by Captain Aldad Paz, was shot down by AAA during the 1956 Suez Crisis. Captain Paz spent the next 32 hours walking back to Israel.
