Pitot tube wanted for flying replica.

Sun Dec 24, 2017 5:23 pm

At this moment some good progress has been made on a flying replica project in the Netherlands. A Fokker D.XXI is being build by Jack van Egmond. The wing is nearly finished and Jack is now trying to find parts that are fitted to the wing. Most wanted at the moment is the correct pitot tube. If we are right informed it should be a Kollsman manufactured type but so far we could not find one. Attached a photo of the tube which we like to find. Does anyone have more information about the tube, or even better, have one available we would be very pleased if you are willing to let us know.

Best regards,

Mathieu.

Hi Stony,

Thanks for your reply. Where can I contact Lance?
A link to a short movie about the project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdLgUsBN9-c&t=39s
I just discovered that the pitot tube should be a Kollsman 171 B, anyone any information or good images of such a type pitot tube?

Regards,

Mathieu.
