Warbird Information Exchange

I've read in the recent past, that 5 New "Behind the cockpit " Fuselage sections were completed ( at Odegaard Wings ?), anyone know where they went to ? One I know is for the Chuck Greenhill Corsair that is under restoration with Sanders Aeronautics, is one with Vultures Row ? Sorry in advance if I'm wrong here ! Thanks, Tony

a few corsair projects were hauled out of the jungle within the last year or two from an undisclosed area and headed south to a more warbird friendly island is the rumor, maybe they went towards those??

Thank you, John T. & camshaw. Just to put this out there, does anyone think, that as a Data Plate resurrection/Tribute Restoration, that we will ever see another Super Corsair ? I say this with ALL Respect to the Odegaard Family, but with all the technology getting more advance every year, I think it would be a great Tribute to all the contributions the Odegaard family has done for Warbirds.

Chicks Dig Warbirds.......right?

Don't think this one needs a tailcone. It is sitting on the gear with an overhauled engine in place.

Probably a good number of the ones I included don't/didn't, I just figured I'd list all of the to-airworthy Corsair restorations I could think of.

There is also the RNZAF F4U-1A Corsair (NZ5503) project that was owned by Ross Jovitt in New Zealand that was sold by Courtesy Aircraft back in 2014 - last I saw, it was in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, in need of a complete ground-up rebuild.
