New Book: The 100 Hour War, by Overall and Hagedorn

Wed Jan 17, 2018 11:48 am

Just received this book for review and it is a wonder! I truly am impressed with the depth of research and the informative detail with regard for the political and cultural situation that created the conflict. Extremely well written and wonderfully illustrated, this book is a must have for the cold days of winter reading!

As an aside, the book details the FAS receiving 20 FG-1D Corsairs and having perhaps 5 in service by the time of the war. While the wartime aircraft receive great coverage, the total list of Salvadoran Corsairs escapes me. Does anyone have a complete list of FAS airframes and fates?

I MUST have this! I have his Foreign Invaders book and it's just wonderful. The Soccer War is of particular interest to me and I can't wait to read Hagedorn's treatment of the subject. Thanks for posting this!
