If you didn't know that Steve Hinton led 2 A-10's and an F-16 in a heritage flight over the Super Bowl National Anthem, you sure couldn't tell from the video.

I never do understand having a fly over for games inside stadiums, or the blimp circling overhead...

But having the Medal of Honor recipients on hand for the coin toss was a very nice touch.

Yeah - I did like the CMH guys. Also love the comments in the amateur videos. “Holy sh**, is that cool!”

Can’t tell if that was Wee Willy or if he borrowed a local ride. Fagen’s maybe?

Very cool GoPro footage on the ACC Aerial Events Facebook page:

Not sure if this will require login for those who don't have FB. I haven't seen the video on YouTube but you may keep an eye out there as well.

And some photos of the flyover formation (by Nick Halseth):

Although the Minnesota Vikings stadium is enclosed, a good portion of the roof is actually translucent, as is a whole side/wall section.

Video worked fine for me as a nonFB user. My favorite parts are seeing the shadow of SSII cast on the starboard A-10 fuselage. Awesome!

I thought this video from youtube was pretty good, and was surprised you could hear the Merlin very well.
