It's been some time since they swung through and made a stop at TOM. It'd be lovely if we can see them in Michigan someday soon....P-38 included.

I don’t think you’ll see the p-38 on the wings of freedom tour as much as you will on the air show circuit. I’m guessing you can’t take a passenger

WHAT'S BETTER THAN ONE SUPERFORTRESS?

The Museum is pleased to announce that the B-29 "Doc" will be appearing at our 2018 WWII Weekend in addition to the B-29 "Fifi". Fifi will be giving rides again and "Doc" will be open for tours.

HUGE AERIAL LINE-UP FOR THE 28TH ANNUAL WORLD WAR II WEEKEND

Museum President, Russ Strine, has confirmed the appearance of the following aircraft for the 2018 event.

Two B-29’s, two B-17’s, four B-25’s, a C-45, a C-46, three C-47’s, a C-54, a C-97, a P-63, P-51 and a P-40. Also an F4U, SBD-5, SB2C-5, FM-2 and TBM-3; numerous T-6/SNJ’s, a Buker Jungmeister, Japanese Kate and Val replicas plus many L-Birds, and PT’s.

Acrobatics demonstrations include the P-51, P-40, F4U, Greg Shelton and his incredible FM-2 Wildcat, Kevin Russo and his SNJ and Jerry Wells in the Jungmeister.

The WWII Airborne Demonstration Team is also back by popular demand.

Airplane rides will be available in no less than 10 WWII bombers, transports, fighters and trainers.
