Someone on Facebook took that to mean THIS Tuesday, and the team had to get on there and clarify that is definitely NOT the plan!

It has come to our attention that someone has put on Facebook that our XP-82 is going to fly this coming Tuesday. We are getting very close to the first flight, but IT WILL NOT BE THIS COMING TUESDAY. The 82 is currently up on jacks for the final ten gear retractions and checking the fit of the new wheels and tires, and making all the final door adjustments. The first flights will be A PRIVATE EVENT. After that we will advise the public to come watch while we fly off the 15 hours of FAA acceptance time. Thank you. Tom Reilly

Oh Mercy!
This whole Facebook thing.
The "it will fly on Tuesday" thing is an age old joke with aircraft rebuilds.
It will fly on Tuesday, if you're not fussy about which Tuesday.

The 82 will fly when everything is ready!

The team who rebuilt this amazing aircraft owe us nothing!!
I'm just so thankful they did it. (against all odds too)

Hear hear! Big thank you to Walt for saving the airframe, and to Tom and his team for the amazing work that's gone into this over the years.
