Hi All,

Does anyone have info on what warbirds will be participating in the Breckenridge, TX 2018 show?

Official site/schedule lists:

Aeroshell Team
B-17 "Texas Raiders"
B-25 "Devil Dog"
Greg Shelton FM-2 Aero
Mid-America Flight Museum
Tora, Tora, Tora
Formation flights of some kind
Lewis Air Legends listed as participating - can find nothing at all on LAL Website.

Poster says multiple B-25s, Corsairs, P-51s - Static? Flying?

Heard that 2017 was a terrific show - kinda hard to tell if 2018 will be as good and worth traveling to from Chicago.

Thanks!!

(also posted this to the Airshow section, but wanted to cover it in the WIX Hangar as well)

EDITED Thread Title 5/28/18 to be inclusive of postings post airshow

Along with some of what you mention...

I believe I saw a post where CAF is bringing the A-26 Invader "Night Mission"

Ezell just posted a Sea Fury video as an early arrival.

Mid-America has plans to bring the B25, P-51, Corsair, TBM, C-47 and Duck

It should be a great show again. I'll be on site FRI-SUN watching the action and will have a few Breckenridge Airshow books with me.

Weather is looking to be good but warm. It is Texas in May!

Thanks VERY Much, Dan!

We'll be there FRI-SUN as well and will look for you!

(BTW - having never been to Breckenridge, will we need to bring chairs for Friday? We have photo pit tix for Sat-Sun)

Weather looks great! We'll be bringing our Electrolyte Mix to add to our water bottles - we learned our Electrolyte replenishment lesson at Chino this year.

Cheers,
The VBs

I'd say you can leave the chairs in the car for Friday. As airplanes arrive I run around the ramp for photos. Parking isn't that far away if you want to go back for your chairs.

Excited to see what other aircraft show up. Texas has a high Warbird population!

My write up from last years show... http://flytoanothertime.blogspot.com/2017/09/breckenridge-warbird-airshow-may-2017.html

Yes, the "L69" Corsair is the Brewster, just about completed. Also, one of those two Wildcats is also part of the Mid America fleet (previously owned by Tom Camp).

The Corsair looks incredible. And I didn't know MAFM bought Air Biscuit!! :) She was at Warhawk for awhile and never flew. I love MAFM they flight their planes a lot! Hope they bring some to Reno.

Such an awesome video (now that I'm back home and can actually watch videos), thanks for bringing the air show to us, sir! It's such great fun to see so many old friends in action... 8)

And kudos for the exceptionally tasteful music.

Vagabond,

It was nice meeting you at the show Saturday. Most of the Mustangs that didn't fly Saturday flew
Sunday. The Duck made a few nice passes before heading home.

PM me your address and I'll send you a DVD. That may be a month or so...

See ya around,
Stephen

Steve, I was on the road and unable to attend the show. Could I please get on your dvd list?

Thanks,

Lynn
