WG655 and 63SF are different birds, but they are pretty much the same now since WG655 got the 2800 swapped in. As was just posted 63SF was run at Sanders today and that is almost 100% Joe’s new Fury. I think WG655 is staying abroad...

So what became of the wreckage of Sea Hawk? parted out, rebuild project?

Hopefully the rare and hard to find parts were salvaged, and the rest was recycled. That was a bad luck plane.

I also hope parts of Seahawk were saved. Ezell did an immaculate restoration on it (I was lucky enough to see it shortly after Joe brought it home to Colorado), I know it really made several of Joe's dreams come true at Reno (like winning Silver on what I think was his first time out with her) and he enjoyed flying the plane anyway. I'm sure he'll be itching to get flying with his new mount as soon as its ready.

Still with NTSB. Don’t forget no matter how straightforward the cause seems , they can take a year or more to finish their investigation.

Well I guess we will wait and see then eh?... But I will admit my little birdie is not the best source :roll: .
