The photos show ex-USN T-28Cs, I wouldn't expect any of them to have combat history (per the Barnstormers ad).
Combat vets, wouldn't they likely be ex-foreign...unless some of the foreign examples made their way back to the U.S. and ended up with the Navy...something I would think unlikely.

If you look thru the batch of photos, there are a few sets of silver wings, a couple of sets of yellow wings and one photo of sets of logs for a number of B models in the group. There is one photo that shows a couple of silver fuselages too. Would be interesting to chase the individual histories to see for sure.

Note some of the planes are/were in a small compound surrounded by mountains - looks like the weapons testing center at Socorro, NM?

Several years ago, this gentleman had the T-28s stored at a site near a mine in NV.

It has been a few years since he moved the airplanes to NW MO

Saludos,

Tulio

Indeed, they are to the northwest of Gallatin MO, and all visible on Google Earth.
They have been advertised for sale many times before.

I would be happy to answer questions I have several T-28’s that served in Vietnam than eventually made their way to the Philippines before returning to United States most of the balance of the T 28‘s came out of auction at Davis-Monthan in the early 80s

When I was a boy, in the early 1970's dad and I would fly over to Tullahoma and visit the folks there that eventually built the Beechcraft Museum and had fly ins. Mr Parrish loved the D17 Staggerwings and owned a red one. At some point he decided to make a market on these beautiful aircraft. He bought up every derelict, basketcase, and wreck he could get his hands on in the Western Hemisphere. He probably had 40 or fifty airframes and 200 wings. I remember because the Staggerwing and my dad's 220 hp. Stearman were in 1970 worth about the same value.
Now a cheap PT-17 is $60K and a cheaper Staggerwing is $200K. He created scarcity and drove the price up.
Saw a DC-3 flying this morning and my friend got really excited. I mentioned that I see those and Beech 18's, T-28s . T-33's, Stearmans, and others scattered about the USA by the hundreds. The owners and sellers need to figure out a way to create a better market for these old (not rare) airplanes, create scarcity and make them more desirable and easier to sell.
