Over the last decade or so of following Kermit Weeks/Fantasy of Flight (blogs, and then Facebook), nothing has ever been reported on the Hellcat other than it being in on-site storage (photos of which can easily be found with a quick Google search). It looks like it would be a fantastic project to work on, and typically in such cases, very little to any corrosion is ever found on these airplanes, since Grumman went to such great lengths with anodizing and primer coatings.
