Surprised this was not posted: Brewster F3A Corsair Flying

Shameless link: http://warbirdsnews.com/warbird-restorations/brewster-f3a-corsair-takes-to-the-skies-in-breckenridge-texas.html

Namely after soooo much discussions through the years

I wonder if Lex was around?

I heard from a friend, who is also a friend of Lex, that he was indeed present for the test flight.

That looks beautiful: I hope it gets some wear and tear over the years because it can only improve the look if so!

I get a lot of flak about paint jobs and what not, but this is prime example of why its important to try and get the piant right. This plane is right out of ww2, the way they looked. the way warbirds should look today. :drink3:

Curious, in order for this to count as a truly accurate restoration, wouldn't it have to be rebuilt to Brewster's original quality standards?
